New commercial and technical approaches made to the tourism services supports the development of immersive and pervasive services. Interactive surfaces and walls play an important role on providing new experiences to the users. For example, the Interactive Cape town wall projection creates a walk-through interactive brochure of the city, by allowing the user to navigate between animated panoramic views of Cape Town, accessing information about attractions and activities in the respective area.
Also, The Canadian Tourism Commission has launched an interactive mural where content from Twitter from and about Canada is being displayed. Passengers can interact with experiences that are being posted in real time.
